I guess I can't live without MSN, so I'm back. I can't alter the way of living, so I'll just leave it as it is. Been thinking a hell lot these days, and I guess I'm planning to do a few more alterations to the way I'm operating now. And.. well. I think I'd leave this blog alone for now. I need a major change in my life right now, and my life's full of downs anyway. So I'll just post all the happy things here, which would be a rarity. Anyway, I feel that I can't blog like the way I used to, so I'll find a new home.. to move to.

If I just lay here,
Would you just lie with me and forget the world?
So it's come, the decision's made. After another week of self-denial, thinking that I actually would study even when I come online, I think it's due time I un-installed this major source of distraction. No point staying and waiting for the sentence to be passed down, no. I don't think I want to sit here and watch the waters rise above my head. I wouldn't wanna go down without a fight and made to look like a joke.
The whole week's bland, like, tasteless? I hate the damn subjects, I can't wait now. I want to get out of damn secondary school, the last year is like the most boring year. Sleep, sleep, and damnit sleep through the blah-ing of the teachers. Seems like even the chairman himself is prone to sleep these days. 5 months, and yes. Goodbye, school.
Got nothing much to update, life's not that interesting these days. Singapore hasn't got much to offer anyway. Where's there to go, except the place 'town' where all the supposedly cool people are seen to be everyday. Yeah, orchard's too much of a bore these days. Sometimes, I wish that I was born elsewhere. I'd jump at the chance to study overseas if there was a chance.
Alright. If ever anyone wants to look for/talk to/tell me things, there's always email. (: Regarding this blog, I guess it'd remain stagnant for a while. Just a slight update:

I'm contemplating whether I should delete MSN Messenger. I was supposed to, two days ago. But it's like a part of me now, equivalent to breathing. But another week from now, it'd be a month to prelims. Grr. I hate this.
Anyway, Rise Against and Alter Bridge are the current top bands on my playlist. Heh, I'mma get Rise Against, Snow Patrol, and maybe, just maybe, AFI and Angels & Airways. Despite the latter two's bad ratings. I can't wait.
I want to learnnnn. In loving memory. (:
Anyway, school sucks as usual. Well, everything else too. I just can't wait till the whole damn year's over and I get to work or something. New school, new meaning, new life.

A tribute to Zinedine Zidane:
The World Cup 2006 had ended, and Italy had won the competiton, abeit in my opinion, un-deservedly. However, I have to give them credit for hanging on, despite France controlling the match. Like they say, luck plays a role in soccer, even in the finals.
France advanced to the finals, and what I saw was that the determination of the veterans playing their last World Cup that saw them through. Players like Viera, Thuram, and Zidane himself were inspired, and they gave their best for what I saw, was their year. Their performance overshone opponents that went through to the last 16, countries like England and Brazil who did not lived up to expectations. However, despite the critics on their backs, France did not make to big a fuss, and their position was nothing that shocked me.
Zinedine Zidane, the player who first inspired me to kick the ball around, the first who drove me to try and master different varieties of getting past numerous opponents, and the first who taught me about the passion of football. His two goals in the finals against Brazil, his winning volley in the Champions League are but a few highlights of his entire careers. The number of acheivements he earned as a player, including the World Player of the Year, was something he truly deserved. He was a humble player, never once speaking about matches he played well in, hiding in the shadows about his glorious games, never once holding his head high. His determination and grit was important as a football player, as vital as his vison and ability to run at opponents. His strengths were undervalued by many, and most only recall the moments of greatness in his career. But what made him a legend in true fans, and in mind heart, are his undervalued strrengths, and the way he play The Beautiful Game.
His role in World Cup 2006 deservingly won him the Golden Ball. But critics refuse to back down, and they grab the chance to gnaw on his one moment of fury. He is, but a human, and the controversial headbutt only prove that besides his mastery of the game, he is one who doesn't back down for the ones he loved. This showed that his instinct to protect his family, even from plain verbal attacks, was one that developed from his heart to them. But few questioned the reason behind the headbutt, they only saw and think that every red card would cause a game to turn in the opponent's favor. Truth is, what made France lose, was the luckless penaltly strike that saw the ball come off the bar.
As the newspapers and and the press round the world hound in day in, day out, Zidane has once again, kept quiet, and only spoke about what was behind the scene on that match day. If he had withdrew himself from that verbal attack, I, for one, would have been ashame of his cowardice, and never speak about him again. But that red card made me applaud his temperament, and he is up there, with the rest of the football greats.
The rest of the world harp on still, about one moment of 'insanity', but the match had passed, and what Zidane had contributed to the world of soccer surpassed even the greatest of sins. But so called football fans continually ask for his head, and I appeal to the people. For what he had brought us, countless magic with his two feet, inspiration to younger players, and his determination and courage that had brought France so far out into the tournament, please. Let him retire in peace.
Zinedine Zidane, you remain as the #1 soccer idol I've had, and the impact you made on my life, has me holding you in high respect for eternity. Your story, I'd pass down to children and grandchildren, and you've taught me much. You are always a champion in my heart. I wish you all the best in your future paths.

Once again, I've received a 'no' for tomorrow's service. To my cell group leader, and more importantly, the whole of N293 and N330, I'm sorry I won't be able to make it. That's all, I.. I have nothing to say, but I'm truly sorry.

So I've been done in by the orals, and my route to revising was a stutter. The whole damn week was once again, wasted, in a sense. The occasional lan gaming comes in once in a while, 'bleach' had been uploading whever the computer's on, while books were seldom opened. Only today proved to be the one bright day, started on a high note, dropped, before the sun sets along with everything that needed sorting out.
Couldn't remember what else happened, other than the fact that my eyesight's okay, or so said the doctor. Yeah, it's been boring, but I've already highlighted the two-three priorities in my life. Heck with the bordom, half a year and I'm outta secondary studies.
The only few companions I have nowadays are still Junle, Jeffrey and Jethro. Funny how we 'KO-ed' ourselves together during periods, or fail the same tests and exams. The deal's to limit to five sleeping periods a week, and at least a topic a day. Hope it works out.
And to Fiona, cheer up, friend. (: For the same goal, we're gonna work hard.
To the rest who asked about me, and were there to offer words of consolence- Beitris, Eve, Ethel, and Zining. Thanks so much, your concern was greatly appreciated.
Now the task before hand is to squeeze in a soccer competition, mastering two songs, and attend cell group in time from the morning to mid-afternoon tomorrow. And blah, I'm damn exhausted already.
Right, now that the glare of the spotlight on my blog's almost vanished, I shall go back to the usual whinings, and stuff that most of the people won't be bothered with. Which, is good. Spare me the wagging of tongues, and the attention I don't really want to be associated with. To the usual visitors, I'd do my best to blog properly.
And would you save my soul, tonight?
Today's been great, I can't help smiling since the minute I got back home. Ah, damn. I'd better get try and get some chords correct before I fail to do so tomorrow. Long day ahead.

I screwed up my chinese o's oral. The teacher was a bitch, the question was unexpected, and my answer to the question summed up a most miserable day. And I just had to make someone who cared, cry.

The past days had been a refreshing change, alongside the company of Junle, Jeffrey, Jethro, and Phillip. I've found some of my piorities, and I've dropped some previous ones. And yes, the removal of a certain stumbling block in my life proved to be a masterstroke, and I felt released.
Oh well, quick update. Yesterday was great fun. I finally attended church service for the first time in three weeks, thanks to milk run. Presence was the same, it never did change. For the next half of the day, it was pretty much just the company of the usual people. And usual is good and enjoyable, the company's just awesome.
Well, yours too. Soothing companionship on a dark, lonely path. And a beautiful night. (:
Be back later, for now, I'mma head out for my checkup.
